Research Programmes at the GUIDE institute

Research Area

The research area of GUIDE comprises a selection of (mainly chronic) diseases in the field of kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, asthma and COPD, liver and metabolic disease, cancer, and diseases related to immune dysfunction, transplantation and infection. These research areas are reflected in the participating research institutes and research programmes.

The GUIDE graduate school encompasses eight research institutes. In every research institute, a specific programme is operative, each reflecting a part of the research area covered by GUIDE. The institutes and their sub-programmes are listed below and detailed information is given (left column)
